Polyhedra, Lever-back Earrings

44.00

From the Classical Greek, "polyhedra" comes from the words "poly" (many) and "hedron" (base or seat).

Polyhedra is part of the Inlay collection, based on an enamel inlay technique similar to the ceramics technique called Mishima. The enamel is scratched out by hand with a toothpick and then "inlaid" with a different color -- hence the name. We went with a thinner glass for this collection, as a complement to the simple two-tone designs and minimalist aesthetic.

The glass is housed in a delicate sterling-silver lever-back housing that hangs closer to the ear than a dangle earring. The lever-back finding is added security that keeps the earring from falling off and getting lost.

Dimensions: 0.4 " x 0.4" ; 10mm x 10mm

(production design: slight variations from the photographed item are inevitable due to the nature of this work -- each design is hand-painted onto the glass)
